TEAM ONE: 1st-2nd Grade

This program is designed to blend academic rigor with hands-on, experiential learning opportunities. Our academic program is tailored to foster a love for learning, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of core subjects through engaging, real-world contexts.

Recognizing the diverse needs of twice-exceptional students, this program emphasizes immersive, hands-on experiences within natural settings, aiming to foster a deep connection with the environment, enhance social skills, develop emotional intelligence, and foster a love of learning.

Central to this program is the belief that nature is a powerful teacher. Students engage in regular outdoor lessons that cover traditional subjects like science, math, and literature through exploration, observation, and interaction with the natural world. This approach not only enriches their understanding of academic concepts but also instills a lifelong appreciation for the world.

This program is designed for students who exhibit a keen sense of curiosity and a strong desire to engage with the world around them in a hands-on manner. These students, often flourishing outside the constraints of traditional classroom settings, benefit from a dynamic and interactive approach to education that leverages natural and real-world contexts as foundational elements of learning.
